Bios
Ryan R. Green, Ph.D., ABPP
HIMS Aviation Neuropsychologist
Dr. Green is from Centerville, Utah. He earned bachelor’s degrees in English and psychology from the University of Utah and completed his doctoral training in clinical psychology at Brigham Young University with specialties in neuropsychology and child psychology. He finished his clinical internship at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) and was licensed in 2014. Dr. Green received a one-year post-doctoral residency in clinical psychology at MAMC and a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at Tripler Army Medical Center. Dr. Green completed 10 years of Active Duty service with the U.S. Army.
In 2016, Dr. Green earned his board certification in clinical psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP: #8096). He currently holds licenses in Alabama (#2084), Utah (#13073861), Washington (#60445659), and is a PsyPact member (#17974).
In 2017, Dr. Green became a Human Intervention Motivation Study (HIMS) certified Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) neuropsychologist providing evaluations for pilots and air traffic controllers. He has extensive experience working in aviation and human factors. He worked at the School of Army Aviation Medicine (SAAM) as the Chief of Aerospace Psychology and Human Factors at Fort Rucker, Alabama from 2017-2020. While at SAAM, he was the director of the Aviation Psychology Training Course, trained over 130 psychologists to work in aviation contexts, and was an adjunct lecturer for the Residency in Aviation Medicine and Occupational Medicine medical residency programs.
Dr. Green earned his private pilot license in 2020, which allowed him to more fully appreciate the human factors involved in the aviation environment. This combination of experience and expertise makes him particularly well suited to conduct FAA neuropsychological evaluations.

Samantha H. Mann, Psy.D.
HIMS Aviation Neuropsychologist
Dr. Mann is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist specializing in clinical, medicolegal, and aerospace neuropsychological evaluations. Her professional training and practice have focused on evaluating adults and adolescents with a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, substance abuse/dependence, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, brain tumors, and dementia. She was introduced to aerospace psychology/neuropsychology in 2014 when she began her two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the Institute for Clinical Neurosciences (Boulder, CO). She became a HIMS Neuropsychologist in 2018, and her passion for aviation-related topics led to exclusively seeing aeromedical cases since the inception of her solo private practice in 2021. As a founding member of Aerospace Neuropsychology Services (ANS), she continues her commitment to working with pilots and air traffic controllers who are seeking medical certification and/or employment with the FAA.
Dr. Mann is originally from Baltimore, Maryland. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wake Forest University in North Carolina before acceptance to her master’s degree program in general psychology at American University in Washington D.C. In 2014, she earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Washington D.C. Kaitlyn Gall, Psy.D., ABPP-CN
HIMS Aviation Neuropsychologist
Dr. Gall earned her doctorate in clinical psychology in 2020 from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. She went on to complete a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at a private practice with hospital privileges in Little Rock, AR under the direct supervision of a board-certified neuropsychologist. She moved to Louisville, KY in 2022 and worked at a private practice for approximately two years. Dr. Gall achieved her board-certification in neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology / American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology in 2024. She currently holds a psychology license in Kentucky.
Dr. Gall’s clinical interests and experiences have centered on severe mental illness, dementia, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Her interest in aviation led her to complete training to become a HIMS aviation neuropsychologist and joining the team at Aerospace Neuropsychology Services (ANS) in 2024 to pursue aviation neuropsychology full time. Monica Malcein, Psy.D.

Katherine Rossi, Psy.D.
HIMS Aviation Psychologist
Dr. Rossi is from Little Falls, New York. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Boston College before earning a master’s degree in general psychology at the American University in Washington D.C. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology in 2014 through the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Washington, D.C. Dr. Rossi became a licensed clinical psychologist in Virginia in 2015, obtained licensure in New York in 2022, and is a PSYPACT member.
Dr. Rossi has experience conducting psychological evaluations for adolescents and adults with a range of presenting concerns including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities, and dementia. In 2024, Dr. Rossi was introduced to aerospace psychology and became a Human Intervention Motivation Study (HIMS) certified Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) psychologist. Dr. Rossi performs evaluations for pilots seeking medical certification (medication, psychological, and ADHD Fast Track evaluations), psychological evaluations for air traffic control specialist applicants, and conducts psychotherapy with aviation personnel.
Mumta Purohit, Psy.D.
Psychologist
Dr. Mumta Purohit, PsyD is a licensed clinical psychologist. She earned her Doctor of Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in Washington, DC, in 2014, and holds a master’s degree in forensic psychology from Marymount University, which she completed in 2008. Dr. Purohit completed her predoctoral internship at Goodwill of Northern New England’s Neurorehabilitation Center in Portland, Maine. There, she conducted neuropsychological evaluations and provided psychotherapy for individuals with both congenital and acquired brain injuries as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Prior to joining Aerospace Neuropsychology Services (ANS), Dr. Purohit spent several years in private practice providing psychotherapy grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and informed by polyvagal theory. During this time, she supported older teens and young adults in navigating the social, emotional, and academic challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Purohit has also conducted legal evaluations including immigration-related psychological evaluations.
Dr. Purohit joined ANS in the fall of 2025, where she conducts clinical evaluations, provides psychological counseling, and executive functioning coaching services. Based in Maryland, she serves clients via telehealth in states where she is authorized to practice through PSYPACT.
Jessica Micono, Psy.D., ABPP
Psychologist
Dr. Micono is a licensed psychologist with extensive training and experience in psychological and forensic assessment. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of New Mexico before completing dual master’s degrees in forensic psychology and clinical psychology at the University of Denver, where she also obtained her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) with a specialization in psychological assessment. She completed her APA-accredited clinical internship through the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology Internship Consortium and became licensed as a clinical psychologist in Colorado in 2009. In addition to her longstanding Colorado licensure, she earned her board certification in forensic psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in 2022, obtained her New Mexico psychologist license in 2023, and is a member of PsyPact, allowing for interjurisdictional practice.
Dr. Micono’s professional expertise encompasses psychological assessment, forensic evaluation, expert witness testimony, and the training and supervision of developing clinicians. She served for 13 years as a psychologist and federal law enforcement officer with the U.S. Department of Justice, providing specialized assessments and collaborating in high-stakes legal contexts. During this time, she also served as Training Director for a nationally recognized forensic postdoctoral fellowship approved by the American Board of Forensic Psychology, where she played a key role in shaping advanced training in forensic mental health assessment. Her career reflects a sustained commitment to excellence in assessment, evidence-based practice, and the advancement of forensic psychology as a specialty.
Dr. Micono joined the Aerospace Neuropsychology Services (ANS) team in 2025 specializing in Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) evaluations and will fulfill training requirements to become an FAA recognized aviation psychologist in 2026. David Stifler, Ph.D.
Program Development
Dr. Stifler is an experienced instructional designer, researcher, and project manager who comes to Aerospace Neuropsychology Services (ANS) after twelve years of teaching and scholarship in higher education. He has taught writing, literature, linguistics, and the Ancient Greek and Latin languages at Florida State University, Duke University, the University of Cincinnati, and Elon University, mentored numerous college and high school instructors, and lectures on the ancient world for Wake Forest University’s Lifelong Learning program.
Dr. Stifler’s scholarship has focused on the changing relationships among language, dialect, ethnicity, and cultural identity throughout the Classical period, especially the role played by the Greek language in the Roman Empire. He has published on these topics in the journals Classical Philology, Classical Journal, and Bryn Mawr Classical Review. His book, Lucian and the Atticists: Language and Satire in the Second Sophistic, was published by Bloomsbury in 2025.
At ANS, Dr. Stifler, drawing from his background in course design, curriculum planning, and team leadership, manages the professional development and performance enhancement programs. Dr. Stifler brings his expertise in research and writing to support the psychological and neuropsychological assessment services.
Dr. Stifler is originally from Northampton, Massachusetts. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Classics and Linguistics from Swarthmore College, an MA in Classics from Florida State University, and a PhD in Classical Studies from Duke University. Marcus Hernandez

Marcus is originally from the Endless Mountains of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. He completed his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Cedarville University in 2023, specializing in research and neuropsychology. His training in psychology and his experience in customer service equip him to consider each client as a unique individual. He is dedicated to providing the best service to each client and understanding their specific needs.
Dylan Hancock
Psychometrist
Dylan is originally from South Gibson, a small town in the Endless Mountain region of northeastern Pennsylvania. In 2024, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Cedarville University, specializing in psychological research and neuropsychology.
Dylan joined Aerospace Neuropsychological Services in 2025. He draws from his training in psychology and his passion for neuroscience to approach each client with care, understanding, and a spirit of optimism.
Dani Walker-Novi
Office Manager
Dani is originally from Boise, Idaho where she obtained her bachelor’s of social work degree from Boise State University. In 2014, she earned a master’s of social work degree from Boise State University.
Dani has a background working with youth, adults and families. Her experience includes operations and administration in therapeutic foster care and integrated primary care. She has a background in clinical social work, behavioral health treatment and offense-specific treatment.
Dani is the office manager at Aerospace Neuropsychology Services (ANS) joining the team in 2025. She is committed to informing clients about the nuances of FAA medical certification, supporting clients as they take the required steps, and helping them achieve their aviation-related goals.
Megan Hommel
Case Manager
Megan is originally from Beavertown, Pennsylvania. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bloomsburg University in 2017 and a master’s degree in Developmental Psychology in 2020.
Megan has a background working with individuals of all ages and their families. Her experience includes operations and therapeutic curriculum development. Megan has a background in Family Based Mental Health Services, Partial Hospitalization Programs, and outpatient therapy.
Megan joined the Aerospace Neuropsychology (ANS) team in 2025 as our case manager. Megan is committed to helping clients navigate the challenges of obtaining records, as well as supporting them through their journey of becoming a pilot or air traffic control specialist.
